Barney Rubble Limited is a skip hire business based in Springwell Quarry in Gateshead,

We have a range of skips that we deliver through out the North East of England and we operate a modern fleet of skip vehicles, all of which are fitted with both a vehicle tracking system and telephone to help us to offer an efficient skip hire service.

Although we are an independent company, we have been owned by Thompson’s of Prudhoe since August 2003, which means that we have the added benefit of being part of a larger group.

We have the following accreditations:

Environment Management System (ISO 14001)	Quality Management System (ISO 9001)

All of the skip waste that we collect is taken to licensed waste disposal facilities where as much as possible is recycled. The Springwell site recycles around 90% of the waste that it handles.

We are a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency, and deal with all the relevant duty of care paperwork.
